    • We respect the client’s autonomy and choices, reinforcing their innate capacity for healing and self-discovery.

  4. Trauma-Informed Care:

    • We recognize the impact of trauma and avoid re-traumatization by ensuring the client feels safe, heard, and respected.

  5. Cultural Humility:

    • We approach every client with respect for their unique cultural, social, and personal identities.

  6. Ethical Communication:

    • We engage in honest, transparent, and compassionate communication.

  7. Continued Learning:

    • We commit to ongoing education about trauma, healing modalities, and best practices in peer support.

  8. Collaboration and Referral:

    • We encourage clients to seek additional support when necessary, such as professional therapy or legal assistance, and assist in connecting them to resources.
