Service Description

Our 50-minute virtual peer sessions offer a safe and compassionate space to connect with another survivor who understands the challenges of healing. While not a substitute for professional therapy, each session provides trauma-informed support from someone who has walked a similar path and is here to listen, affirm, and guide with empathy and understanding. In your one-on-one session, your peer mentor will: Listen and Affirm: Hold space for your story without judgment—honoring your truth and validating your experiences. Provide Survivor-Centered Support: Create a calm, grounded environment where you can share openly and move at your own pace. Explore Grounding Practices: Learn simple somatic tools such as mindful breathing, body awareness, and gentle relaxation to help navigate triggers and ease overwhelm. Offer Practical Guidance: Receive help identifying supportive resources, exploring therapy options, or finding next steps that feel manageable for you. Healing can be overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. Whether you join us weekly, monthly, or as needed, your mentor walks beside you with care and compassion—helping you reconnect with your inner strength and sense of safety. Each session is designed to meet you where you are. Together, we’ll focus on understanding your needs, supporting your nervous system, and cultivating steady moments of presence and self-trust—one step at a time.
